Neve - 5 Months

5 Whole Months old...and it's sure been a busy 5 months at that.
- I can now sit pretty nicely as long as there's just a little something to help me balance.
- I also have 2 whole teeth.
- I can grab and put anything I want in my mouth as long as it's in easy reach, and the parentals have to keep a sharp eye on their food and drinks when I'm around.
- I learnt a new game, when the parentals give you something to play with you hold it over the side of the chair and drop it out, it makes a cool noise and then you get to watch the fun as they come over to pick it and start the game all over again.
- I'm a bit of a night owl and like nothing better than staying up with the folks until late at night, but once in bed I stay there until 8 or 9am in the morning, I definitely don't take after my brother in that regard.
- I'm a smiley baby but pleas don't take me away from my mom because there's no easier way to turn that smile upside down.

The master plan was to get all dressed up today and have a cool photo shoot but the sub zero temperatures foiled our plans...so instead mom just bundled me up, lay me next to the heater and got a smile or two...we'll save the dress up for another day!

Seth - Pilots & Trains

Everyone knows a decent pilot needs decent pair of goggles so imagine my delight when I happened upon this ultra cool pair. I've deiced to keep them in the car with me now to help protect me from that awful sun that keeps poking me in the eye!
Then we went off to the shops and found this really cool old train, I checked it out good and proper but was a bit upset they'd fenced it off, I would have loved to hop up and had a go at driving it!

Neve - Twoofies!

Look, what I got, not 1 but 2 teeth at the same time... see twoofies...get it???

A Very Merry Unbirthday to Us!!!

The best thing ever happened yesterday...I came from looking for faeries in my bedroom and the parentals were in the lounge with goofy grins on their faces, singing a funny unbirthday song...it was an unbirthday party for all of us...WOOOHOOOOO!

Thanks parentals, we loved the unbirthday party and all the presents. Especially the Raptor which Mom didn't manage to snap a pic of!

Neve - This Cold...

Brrrrrr, it's been freezing and Mom bundles me up so much I can hardly move!

Plus she puts hats on me that aren't very slimming on the face, my cheeks look positively chubby in this one!
Luckily when I'm too bundled up to move my brother brings me things to look at like this cool plane he designed.

But one of the nicest things about winter, is warm snuggles with Dad!

Neve - The Thing About Big Brothers

Is not just that they're so much fun!

Just when you're minding your own business first thing in the morning,
They come to say hello,
And hold you hand and keep you company until Mom finally comes to get you.
They bring you all manner of toys and pile them on top of you so that they're in easy reach, and when you stretch they all fall off and give you a fright!

They show you how to go on treasure hunts
And when you get bored of the silly toys Mom puts you under,
They come to tell you stories
And give you hugs that you love, even though you're secretly also a little nervous of getting the life squished out of you!
