Rocking my outfit!

I've gotten some pretty cool clothes from Gran & Grumpy lately, they seem to have good taste so far, so I think I'll keep them around.

Mom tried to get some photos of me wearing the new clothes but I'm too fast for her, within seconds I managed to turn around, and climb up on her to get the camera.

Unfortunately she wouldn't play along though and give it to me...spoil sport!

Um, I don't think I'm going to hang around here for long.

Bomber Baby

So I was lying on my back a bit and Mom quickly came to take pictures while I was still, I move too fast these days for the camera!

I felt all cool when Mom zipped up my bomber jacket right to the top, it meant there was something right by my mouth to chew on!

And see that ball I'm holding, it's actually a toy I swiped from the cats...I'm too quick for them!

Oh hi, do you want to play with this ball?

Well you can't, cause it's mine!

Hmmm, I think I'll just contemplate the meaning of life for a moment...before I get crawling again.

Braai Day

We had a thing at our house today called a braai, which just seems to be a big black thing which makes lots of smelly smoke. I wonder why the parentals enjoy it so much?

Lots of friends visited though, which was fun, and I got to crawl around in the sun for ages!

Today I decided to give Mom a little surprise and pull out the latest trick up my sleeve.

I was crawling around today and it was pretty chilly, until I came across my cat lying in a bit of sun, so I decided to join him.

Now that I can crawl around I don't have to sleep where Mom puts me any more.

It's really cool, while she thinks I'm napping I'm actually cruising my cot and playing with my teddies.

It does get tiring though and that is why I still fall asleep sometimes, crawling is hard work you know!

Me & My Cat

Did you know I have a cat? His name is Spike and he loves me!

Actually I have 2 cats but I terrify the living daylights out of Fagan so it's almost as if I only have one.

Spike is the best cat though, he always lies down next to me when I'm playing, and makes the coollest purring noises. He is one of the reasons I decided it was time to get crawling, cause I like to follow him around.

He even lets me crawl all over him, and his squishy tummy makes a nice pillow, but when I pull his hair he makes funny squeaky noises and Mom makes me let go!

Mom can't believe how Spike lets me crawl over him, I don't know why though, everyone loves me so why wouldn't my own cat?

Biltong Boy

Today my Mom went to the butcher.

While she was choosing what meat she wanted, me and the butcher had a nice chat, and then he slipped me a piece of this yummy stuff called biltong.

I had it firmly between my teeth before Mom even noticed. Thank goodness because she was nearly going to have a fit, but then she relaxed and decided to just let me enjoy my pressie!

Thanks Mr Butcher man, I loved every second of chewing it!

Half a year full of fun!

Today I am 6 MONTHS OLD!

When that sore tummy kicked in at 2 weeks old I never thought I'd make it this far! But here I am and not only did I make it but I'm actually enjoying myself these days!

Did you know I can actually crawl...and bite things like my mother? When I stick out my tongue a little bit I can feel these cool things in my mouth my Mom calls teeth, so I stick out my tongue a lot!

I went to the doctor yesterday and he told me what I already know, yes I am perfect! He said he was looking forward to seeing my growth curve because I was so very big the first time he saw me. Well guess what, I'm right smack bang in the middle of normal when it came to my weight and head measurements...but when it came to my height it turns out I am still really tall. The doctor said I'm 5cm's taller than average for this age, and at 71cm's I am one day going to tower over the parentals. I wonder it I'll be able to tell them what to do then?

I LOVE food, banana and butternut are my two favourites! I still keep throwing up everywhere but it's all cool now that I can crawl, because now I don't throw up on myself any more. Instead it goes on the floor where I can see it, and feel it, and smear it around...Mom always freaks though and tries to wipe it up before I can have my fun!

Mom actually asked the doctor about my reflux and he says I am doing so well that he won't give me any medicine and Mom must just suck it up (as opposed to me who can just spit it out) cause it can last until I'm 18 months old.
