Pardon the Expression

But I love exercising my facial muscles these days, you can really pull the most interesting faces if you just know how!

Here are a couple of my favouristes at the moment:

My SNEER
It's imperative you do heavy breathing through the nose to accompany this look ,otherwise it's not half as effective
And in case you hadn't noticed, it's also fun to do it with a mouth full of food!
Oh WOW!
I can't believe my eyes!

This is how you sniff stuff that's smelly
And one last photo slightly off topic, just cause I love my Mom and she always moans I never put any photos of her here!

Last few!

Sadly, just as my holiday had to end, so too must my posts about it. I thought I would leave you with a few last photos and stories of what I got up to before we made the long trek home...and man, was it long!

I was pretty busy even though it was a holiday. You know there is no rest for us babies, we have to learn every day of our lives! So try think about that the next time you complain about having to get up at 6 in the morning, it may be holiday for you but we consider it a full working day!

Practising standing on my own
Playing soccer with Mom
Taking a break from all the kicking!
Who are you calling funny face?
I call this the "karate kid" stance, it requires great skill and a natural instinct for balance!
Like the t-shirt says...

Some of my Fandamily

As you saw from my last post, it wasn't just us at the beach. After the first week my Dad's family joined us too which was cool. They let me visit them lots and we had loads of fun together!

Us
Noni & me watching the waves

Uncle Mikey (watching the centre of the universe of course)
Having fun with Grumpy

The Centre of My Universe

I think this says it all...

Sand!

Have you ever noticed how much sand there is at the beach?
Mom said there was hardly any because it's all been washed away, but it looks like more than enough to me, I can't imagine there being any more!

At first I didn't think much of it all...in fact it kind of freaked me out. Even when I thought I was safe between the parentals on their towels it still managed to find me....Eeeeeeek!
But then Dad showd me how to write my name in it which was pretty cool
Soon I was leaving the safety of the towel in search of my own adventures in the sand.
And I realised it's quite comfy to sit in...
...even if Mom does put that annoying hat on you...
I even did the taste test, but I can assure you it is quite inedible.
Then Mom and I went for a walk and compared our footprints. Hers is the gigantic one to the right, while mine are the normal sized ones.
And before long, I was speeding off into the distance before anyone could stop me!

After a few days I loved the sand, and I wish I had some at home to play in. I think I need to have a chat with the parentals about organising something!

The Apartment

I have so many things I want to tell you about my holiday I thought I would just start at the beginning and tell you about where we were staying.

We stayed in an apartment with the most amazing view. You could see rocks and dassies, and out the side a whole pond full of these gigantic fish, it was awesome!

But the parentals were far more interested in splashes on the sea, kept mentioning something about whales. Dunno what's so exciting about splashes but who understands how parent's minds work anyway?

I got my very own bedroom but it wasn't anywhere as nice as Mom & Dad's which had the biggest bed to play around on!

Mom said the beach by us was washed away, but we still took a stroll down to have a look at all that water and have a bite to eat...best of all, I nearly convinced Dad to give me a swig of his beer...sigh, but as usual Mom was a spoil sport.

The awesome view, do you see all the dassies?
My room
The parentals room
Check what I can do, I just squish my nose like this and...what do you mean smile for the camera, this is far more interesting!
Daddy, I luff you vewy vewy much...and if you'd just take you hand off the bottle for a second I'd really appreciate it!

Back from Holiday!

Hey everyone, I'm back!

I've been on holiday the last few weeks and it was awesome.

I can't wait to update you all but I'm so busy getting back into the groove, so I'll have to do it in bits and pieces.

In the meantime I though I'd leave you with a photo of me cruisin' the beach!

Doing the speed crawl and looking good!
