Oh the joys of being a boy!

I get to have so much fun, it's really awesome!

Yesterday late afternoon I was dying of heat, so Dad decided to let me run through the sprinkler, but the hosepipe filling the pool was way more interesting.

Another interesting thing I've found is the windows...I can open & close them myself, climb up the bars and have nearly figured out how to actually climb out. I've also worked out how to climb up to some of the higher windows, Mom looked really delighted by that!

Hurrah I made it!

And this was earlier today where I got stuck behind the couch after following my balls there from over the back of the couch. Thank goodness Mom found me and freed me!

My 1 year checkup!

I went to the doctor yesterday for my 1 year check up and apparently everything is good. Ha ha, he tried to make me walk to Mom but I tricked him and just ran straight to Dad.

I now weight 8.75 kg's so am a real skinny malink, but I am 81cm's tall. Dr said it looks like I may be even taller than he first thought, and when I'm all grown up it's likely I'll be over 6 foot. That will be pretty cool cause then finally I'll be able to see what Mom gets up to in the kitchen and I'll be able to reach the tv remote!

It's my party!

Today the parentals told me it was my party, and they got me all dressed up. I didn't think too much of the shirt though so tried my hardest to drool as much as possible down the front of it...it eventually worked and Mom had to change it cause it was sopping wet.

Anyway, it was actually pretty cool. Loads of people arrived and everyone was in my favourite place...outside! I just got to go wherever I wanted and eat as much as I wanted!

There were people who wanted me to tear paper off stuff, and I was pretty happy to oblige, paper is fun when you're allowed to rip it.

The best part was when Mom stcuk a huge cake in front of me and I was allowed my first taste of sugar.......YUMMY!!! I'm planning to eat a whole load more of that stuff if I get my way!

Happy Birthday My Beautiful Boy!

Today a year ago we were at Linkwood and still waiting patiently for you to be born...I think that is the last time we had to wait for you to do anything.

Since then you have raced ahead of us in leaps and bounds.

I never dreamed being a Mother could be so hard but yet so easy, that a day could feel so long or a year could go so fast, but most of all...I never realised that a heart could love so much and that there would be so very many moments of joy!

Happy Birthday my Seth, you are the light of many people's lives but most of all you are the shining light in mine!
